Return & Refund Policy

Our policy on contributions, refunds, and transaction disputes.

1. Nature of Contributions

All contributions made through the Gurupatha platform are voluntary and represent a declaration of ownership and support for the Gurupatha Secretariat โ€” the South India Secretariat of ABRSM. These are not purchases of goods or services, and therefore standard return or refund policies applicable to commercial transactions do not apply.

2. No Refund Policy

Once a contribution has been successfully processed and a receipt has been issued, it is considered final and non-refundable. We are unable to reverse completed transactions as the funds are immediately allocated towards the construction and development of the Gurupatha Secretariat.

3. Exceptions โ€” Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions

  • A duplicate payment was made due to a technical error
  • An incorrect amount was charged due to a system fault
  • Payment was debited but no confirmation or receipt was received

In such cases, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction with your payment details and we will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

4. Failed Transactions

If your payment was debited from your bank account but the transaction shows as failed or pending on our platform, please do not attempt to pay again immediately. Banks typically reverse such amounts within 5โ€“7 working days. If the amount is not reversed within this period, please contact us with your transaction reference number.

5. How to Request a Review

To raise a concern regarding a transaction, please reach out to us with the following details:

  • Full name as entered during the contribution
  • Registered email address
  • Razorpay Payment ID or Order ID
  • Date and amount of the transaction
  • Brief description of the issue

6. Resolution Timeline

We aim to acknowledge all queries within 2 business days and resolve eligible cases within 10 business days. Refunds, where approved, will be credited to the original payment method and may take an additional 5โ€“7 business days to reflect depending on your bank.
