1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Gurupatha platform and making a contribution, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this platform.
2. Nature of Contribution
Contributions made through Gurupatha are voluntary and represent a commitment to the academic mission of the initiative. The "one faculty, one square foot" model at ₹15,000 per square foot is a symbolic and financial stake in the creation of this academic space — it does not constitute a purchase of property or any legal ownership of physical assets.
3. Non-Refundable Contributions
All contributions made through this platform are non-refundable once the payment has been successfully processed, except in cases of technical errors or duplicate transactions. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction.
4. Eligibility
This platform is intended for faculty members from Central Universities, State Universities, Deemed Universities, Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic Institutions, and Government or Private Degree Colleges. By contributing, you confirm that you meet this eligibility criterion.
5. Accuracy of Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the contribution process. Gurupatha reserves the right to cancel contributions made using false or misleading information.
6. Receipts and Records
A PDF receipt will be sent to your registered email address upon successful payment. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address provided is correct. Gurupatha is not liable for receipts lost due to incorrect contact details.
7. Donor Wall
By opting in to the Donor Wall, you consent to your name and contribution amount being displayed publicly on the Gurupatha website. You may request removal at any time by contacting us.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this platform, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Gurupatha / CIRAD and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Gurupatha and CIRAD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform or the contribution process.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
